City of Durham Land Development Office

The Land Development Office (LDO) created by City and County of Durham is used to streamline development and permitting processes. It provides a way to create, track, maintain, and manage applications, permits, inspections, and code violations. LDO provides Durham with the tools required to practice effective growth management. Customers can look at development related applications that are submitted and review comments as these documents become available during processing.

For customers' convenience, the City of Durham is now able to accept online payments. The LDO Web application is securely integrated with a third party transaction processor provided by the Paymentus Corporation.

PAYMENTUS charges a non-refundable convenience fee to process your payment for the use of its software and technology. This fee is separate from your bill payment. There is a 3.3% per transaction fee for payment by credit card and a $0.50 transaction fee per Electronic Check.
