Permit # 24103473 reviewed by Doug Wegner on August 22 is Disapproved. Note the following concerns.
1. Life Safety plan sheet L.S.1.0 defines an exit path going through stock room 133. Review this condition with the NCBC section 1016 item 5.
2. Similar to item # 1 above , re-evaluate exit path at stock room 117.
3. Provide contractor with design details for guards , shown on page A9.11.
4. Evaluate the need for cane rail in at the stair area shown on sheet A7.8 C
5. Re-evaluate keyed locking mechanism on coil door showm at mall entrance on sheet A13.0b. See NCBC section 402.8.8

Permit # 24103473 reviewed by Doug Wegner on September 16th is Disapproved. Note the following
Provide further clarification on the egress dynamics at the mall entrance. Upon closer review it appears that the placement of the egress signs at the storage room doors are actually in the storage room and the egress door swings into the storage rooms which have less than 50 occupants ( 117, 114 ) . Less than 50 occupants door swing is acceptable. Clarify exit distance ,and exit discharge for occupants in storage room 114.
